Owen Agho is a corporate attorney in the Technology Transactions and Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Practice Groups who focuses his practice at the intersection of the law and technology and their combined impact on society at large. Owen’s practice includes advising clients on matters regarding information technology and intellectual property, data privacy, mergers and acquisitions, and other general corporate matters.
In his practice, Owen represents clients in information technology transactions including license agreements, software development agreements, and software as a service agreements. In addition, Owen reviews and rewrites vendor management/privacy policies in an attempt to circumvent future potential issues for clients. Owen also drafts various forms of commercial contracts regarding the purchase and sale of goods and services, including supply contracts, terms and conditions of purchase and sale, and service agreements for a variety of goods and services in a variety of industries.
He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Georgetown University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences where he teaches a course on Privacy and Surveillance.
