Nicia Mejia concentrates her practice in defending insurance carriers in residential and commercial first-party property breach of contract lawsuits, while providing clients with strategic counseling and legal advice on a variety of issues arising out of property damage claims. She has handled matters involving, hurricane damage, windstorms, fire losses, vandalism, water damage and sinkholes throughout the state of Florida.
During law school, Nicia was a member of the St. Thomas Law Review. She gained experience through judicial internships at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
