Jamison Whiting advises public and private companies on strategic business initiatives in addition to keeping up with state and federal regulations for public and private businesses.
Prior Experience
In addition to serving as a summer associate at Faegre Drinker, Jamison worked as a student attorney at the University of California Irvine School of Law’s Civil Rights Litigation Clinic, acted as the Vice-Chair and ABA representative for the Student Bar Association and an Executive Board member for the Black Law Students Association. Jamison also served as a summer law clerk for a Fortune 100 company.
Personal Interests
Jamison is proud to be from the South Side of Minneapolis. When he is not in the office, Jamison can be found at his alma mater, Washburn High School, as a volunteer football coach or engaged in community activities around the city. During his time at the University of Northern Iowa, Jamison was a dual sport athlete participating for both the UNI football team and UNI track and field team. In his free time, Jamison enjoys “up north” lake life, big mountain skiing, motorcycling, walking his dog Cleo and spending time with his family and partner Kelly.
