Alycia S. Tulloch is an associate in the Litigation Group, focusing on entertainment and intellectual property disputes.
Ms. Tulloch represents corporate and individual clients in a wide range of industries including technology and music. She has extensive experience in complex civil litigation, and has trained at city, state, and national levels on trial skills and strategic case development. Ms. Tulloch also has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, previously serving as the Director of the Women of Color Initiative Project where she worked directly with individuals and organizations in entertainment, media, and technology to organize community outreach events. Lawyers of Color included Ms. Tulloch in their 2023 "Hot List" for her noteworthy accomplishments and involvement in diversity initiatives.
Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Ms. Tulloch was a litigator with a large law firm, and a Litigation Fellow with the Eviction Defense Collaborative, the only legal services organization in San Francisco solely focused on eviction protection and the lead organization of the Tenant Right to Counsel program in the Bay Area. Over the course of her career, Ms. Tulloch has represented clients in a broad range of legal issues, including complex commercial litigation, employment disputes, and intellectual property disputes. She has also defended clients facing criminal charges, including white-collar crimes and other serious offenses.
Ms. Tulloch is passionate about providing pro bono representation to indigent clients and has represented clients ranging from asylum seekers to nonprofit organizations in immigration, intellectual property, and housing law matters.
Additionally, Ms. Tulloch is a frequent contributor to IP and Media Law Updates, a Frankfurt Kurnit blog covering media, entertainment, and IP developments, and has written several articles including Copyright Office Ruling Exposes Artificial Intelligence and NFT Issues, Copyright Office Sued For Refusing To Register AI-Made Work, and AI-Generated Rapper, FN Meka, Inks Major Record Label Deal.
Ms. Tulloch is admitted to practice in California, Washington, D.C., the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
