Brandi’s practice focuses on representing corporate and individual clients in government investigations and complex commercial trial and appellate litigation. Brandi defends and represents clients in the healthcare, telecommunications, financial services, and tech industries in high stakes litigation, and internal investigations and government investigations involving healthcare fraud, consumer protection issues, antitrust issues, and anti-money laundering issues. Brandi has also defended a government contractor in a DOD investigation concerning remediation of a Superfund site under CERCLA.
Brandi has maintained an active pro bono practice in D.C. Superior Court for several years, representing individuals in civil rights cases and nonprofit organizations in breach of contract disputes.
Brandi is a two-time appellate law clerk, having clerked for former Chief Judge Eric T. Washington of the D.C. Court of Appeals and civil rights icon Damon J. Keith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
While in law school, Brandi interned for a Commissioner on the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and was a SLIP Intern at the U.S. Department of Justice. Brandi was also a moot court champion in law school, and a member of two law journals, both at the University of Texas School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor degree, and at Georgetown University Law Center where she attended as a Visiting Student from 2011-2012.
