Justin Floyd advises global asset management and private equity firms on the formation, offering, closing and ongoing operation of private investment funds, including buyout, venture, funds-of-funds and special focus funds. Justin also represents investment advisers on Advisers Act and other compliance matters, along with internal operational and governance issues. He has additional experience representing a broad spectrum of institutional investors in negotiating fund terms and other considerations relating to their participation in private investment funds, separately managed accounts and other structured investment vehicles. In 2015, Justin spent several months on secondment to a preeminent global asset manager in its institutional and alternative investments group. He gained insights into the day-to-day operations and concerns of asset managers, which inform his practice and approach to address client needs.
